EAU DE PARFUM VS EAU DE TOILETTE VS EAU DE COLOGNE. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

Perfumes are made of a blend of fragrant oils and aromatic ingredients. The intensity and character of a scent depends on the concentration of fragrance oil. The higher the concentration, the richer and deeper the scent, and the longer the perfume lasts on the skin.

EAU DETOILETTE (EDT)

Lighter than eau de parfum, eau de toilette contains between 8% and 12% fragrance oil. Less intense, it fades faster and is ideal for frequent applications or casual daytime use.

EAU DEPARFUM (EDP)

Perfumes are made of a blend of fragrant oils and aromatic ingredients. The intensity and character of a scent depends on the concentration of fragrance oil. The higher the concentration, the richer and deeper the scent, and the longer the perfume lasts on the skin.

EAU DECOLOGNE (EDC)

This is the lightest perfume, containing just 3% to 8% fragrance oil. Easy, refreshing and ideal to splash on. But it won’t last as long or make an impression like eau de parfum.
